Built for extreme heat. Designed for durability.
At Dexon Rubber, we offer the SHR T-3 (180 °C) Heat-Resistant Rubber Conveyor Belt, engineered for the most demanding high-temperature bulk handling applications. This belt is made to perform reliably in environments where conveyed materials or belt surfaces are exposed to very high temperatures, such as in steel plants, cement kilns, sinter‐process areas and foundries.
What “SHR T-3 (180 °C)” means
- “SHR” stands for Super Heat-Resistant, meaning the belt uses special compounds and fabrics formulated for elevated temperature service.
- “T-3” is the grade designation indicating suitability for continuous surface temperatures up to approximately 180 °C for fine/coarse materials, and short‐term peaks potentially up to ~200 °C for coarse lumps.
- “180 °C” refers to the designed continuous operating surface temperature for fine materials; coarse materials may present even higher surface or material temperatures.
Key Features & Benefits
- High Temperature Resistance: Suitable for conveying hot materials where belt‐surface temperatures approach 180 °C or higher.
- Special Heat-Resistant Cover Compound: The rubber cover is formulated to resist cracking, hardening, and degradation under high thermal stress.
- Robust Carcass Reinforcement: Available with carcass options like N/N (Nylon/Nylon) or EP (Polyester/Nylon), so the belt retains structural integrity under high temperature and load.
- Heavy-Duty Application Fit: Ideal for very hot bulk materials-sintered ore, clinker, red‐hot materials, hot casting sand, etc.
- Reduced Maintenance & Long Life: Because the belt is designed for extreme heat, you get better service life and lower unplanned downtime in high temperature operations.

Typical Applications
Dexon Rubber’s SHR T-3 belt is especially suited for:
- Steel plants conveying hot sintered ores, hot metal parts or similar red‐hot lumps.
- Cement plants handling hot clinker, pre-heater discharge material, or kiln coolers.
- Foundries dealing with hot casting sand, hot by-products or hot bulk materials.
- Power plants or incineration systems conveying ash or hot residues.
- Any heavy bulk‐material processing where temperatures are well above what standard belts can handle.
